3 miracle beauty products – that work!

We didn’t believe in beauty magic until we tested them…

So many products have been hyped up in the beauty world. But as experts, we are rarely fazed by that and always looking for the next holy grail – which actually works!

And luckily, we found not just one, but three products which did what they said on the tin and delivered results which we are well impressed with.

So sit back, relax and take note as we spill out the beans on our miracle beauty fixes.

You’re welcome!

alpha h-liquid gold

Alpha H – Liquid Gold:

I’ve only been using this product for two weeks now but I could see the results already. In fact I could not believe it when I woke up the first morning after applying it and noticed a significant result: my skin was smoother and looked brighter and even some of the blackheads had shrunk a lot!

Used 3 or 4 times a week, this clear liquid is a strong overnight resurfacing solution which uses Glycolic Acid to rid of dead skin, tighten pores and as a result gives a brighter complexion and evens out skin tone.

Skin dullness has always been my main problem, followed with some pigmentation due to sun exposure, and to battle that I had started to regularly go for diamond peel facials and microdermabrasion sessions – which are effective but took their toll on my wallet.

After using Liquid Gold, I think I found the replacement! It does the same result and as quickly and is much cheaper.

This is one product I will keep stocking in my beauty closet. And unless you have very sensitive skin (Liquid Gold is a concentrated skincare treatment so has to be used carefully), I highly recommend it!

(Alpha-H Liquid Gold 100ml, USD41.26, available at Luxola.com).

Meso c-filorga

Filorga Meso-C radiance treatment:

The first time I used this product is a month before my wedding. I was stressed, my skin looked dull and tired and I had no time to go to facials. The result was amazing so I decided to use it again this year!

Meso-C is a 21-day treatment which through high doses of Vitamin C stimulates the skin tissues and brightens the skin – and it works. After one week only, I noticed the result; my face looked less tired and more luminous. I could go out even without applying BB cream!

Filorga is classified as ‘Medical cosmetics’ brand as they also do injectable dermal fillers used by plastic surgeons, and the complicated process of preparing the product (Meso-C kit contains 3 10ml bottles of solution and a powder which you have to mix together and on time) shows just how serious they are.

I loved the way this treatment worked for me, and in addition to the Meso-C solution, I used the Sleep and Peel resurfacing night cream which helped speed up the results.

Recommended to be used maximum 2 times a year, I’d say make this your secret weapon before an important event!

(FILORGA MESO-C Cure Multivitamin Radiance Treatment, USD97, available at Sephora stores).

259-clarins-beauty-flash-balm-50ml2

Clarins Beauty Flash Balm:

This is a far gentler product than the ones above but it works just as well.

In fact, this is the one beauty product I have been using for years and it has never disappointed me.

I love the texture it gives me; the balm is like an instant deep moisturizer (you can feel your skin breathe once you apply it) which also brightens, boosts radiance and acts like a perfect base for makeup.

And when my skin looks very tired, I use it as a mask to re-energize and get back that youthful glowing complexion.

What more could I ask for; a prefect quick fix!

(Clarins Beauty Flash Balm, 50ml, USD55.6, available at Clarins counters).
