A round up of the iconic makeup artist’s best fashion week looks that you absolutely have to see to believe.
Mention “Pat McGrath” and the flash of past makeup looks for Margiela, Dior, Versace and other game-changing designers’ collections will probably come to mind. The iconic makeup artist (who’s also the Creative Design Director of Procter & Gamble, leading brands like Covergirl, Gucci and Dolce & Gabbana) was responsible for creating the incredibly bold looks that caught our eyes this Spring 2016 . Including those seen at at shows like Louis Vuitton, Givenchy and Prada.
Just when you thought she’s at her peak of creativity, Pat’s about to reach even greater heights this Fall. Over at Paris Fashion Week, the makeup maestro launched her first-ever beauty product, the Gold001. The loose dust can be used mixed with other makeup mediums to create lip products, eyeshadows and general all-over face usage, since it’s true form is also recommended as a bold highlighter.
We first saw it at Prada’s Spring 2016 show, and back then nobody knew what it was. She was sure to keep her lips sealed when interviewers asked what was used to create the dirty-gold metallic lips on every model backstage. If you’re keen on getting the limited edition product for yourself, make sure you check back on her website often, since launch dates are vague and a surprise drop could happen anytime.
