From Sofia Vergara and Brie Larson to Lady Gaga and Olivia Wilde, we bring you the key hairstyles that definitely were a star of their own at this year’s Oscars.
THE BUN – GUEST OF HONOUR
While Joy Mangano went with an oversized bun and Olivia Wilde flaunted some sweet braids in hers, let’s just say the bun was the most sported style on the red carpet. At the same time, others chose to play the card of Hollywood glamour with classic hairstyles that never fail to work – but with some adjustments. Traditionally, the golden age of Hollywood hairstyles focused a lot on long hair that’s gathered to one side. This year, the trend changed and we saw plenty of shoulder-length hair with big waves. Another lasting impression we caught was Bree Van de Kamp’s motionless hair that’s too perfect to be true.
