FOTD: Rihanna’s bronzed makeup look at Fashion LA Awards

Last week, the stars were out in full force for the Fashion LA Awards – but what really got us was Riri’s bronzed makeup look which we can’t wait to copy.
The stars were out in full force for the Fashion LA Awards. A-listers such as Rihanna, Kanye West and Nicole Richie came out to honour innovative designer Jeremy Scott.
Rihanna’s furry stole that opened to reveal the right amount of cleavage had us hot under the collar but her bronzed glamazon makeup had us even more excited.
To recreate her bronzed visage, layer a bronze eyeshadow pencil on your lids as a primer before sweeping a bronze frosted shadow on your lids up to your crease. Line your eyes in a cat-eye shape with a jet-black water-proof eye liner, be sure to get the liner in between your lashes as well to ensure that no skin peeks through. That creates an illusion of a fuller lash.
Next, crimp your lashes before applying a volumising and lengthening mascara. Wiggle the wand from the base of your lashes to the tip, let the mascara settle for a few seconds before giving your lashes a final crimp to seal the curl in place. Brush on bronzer on the hollows of the cheeks and along the jawline to accentuate your features.
Finish up the look with a nude glossy lip. Apply a pearlescent nude shade on your lips, highlighting the cupid’s bow first before fanning out to the rest of the lip for fuller more luscious lips.
