Tired of overdoing your makeup? It’s time to go back to basics. Get Jamie’s no-makeup makeup look in just a few easy steps!

We can’t stop gushing over Jamie Chung’s fresh-faced look for the premiere of her latest film, It’s Already Tomorrow In Hong Kong, in New York. Her dewy skin paired with minimal eye makeup is understated perfection!

The trick to acing this look is flawless skin that looks like it has nothing on. If you’ve already got a clear, smooth canvas, either forgo the foundation altogether or mask any uneven spots with a lightweight BB cream. If more coverage is needed, conceal your blemishes or dark spots using a concealer brush with a light hand. Skip the powder – you would want the skin to look as real as possible.

Add some natural barely-there contour by brushing the powder lightly on the perimeter of the face. Try to avoid any nose contour for this one.

For the eyes, use a matte black eyeshadow as your soft, smokey winged eyeliner with a small angled brush to get the perfect hazy flick. Finish off with some mascara and glue on a pair of fluttery but natural-looking falsies.

Complete your makeup with a clear or nude lip gloss (or your favourite rosy-hued lipstick to add a hint of colour to the face) and you’re good to go!
