FOTD: A timeless classic

Bold red lips and dewy, radiant skin… take a look as we recreate Jessica Alba’s timeless makeup look!
In our eyes, no makeup look is more flattering than the classic red lip paired with radiant, dewy skin – as seen on gorgeous actress Jessica Alba. To get this look, start off by applying a radiant primer as your base. Wait for that to sink into your skin and then add an illuminating foundation. For an extra glow, take a highlighting concealer and apply it under the eyes, on your chin, and a small amount in the centre of your forehead. Do not forget to add a touch of bronzer to where the sun would naturally hit your face (cheekbones, forehead and jawline).
Now its time for the eyes, Sephora’s trio eyeshadow palettes are all you are going to need. Take a light creamy colour and sweep it all over your eyelid, then take the second deepest shade and tap it onto the centre of your eyes… to finish, simply add the darkest shade gently into your crease and blend till you can’t blend anymore!
This look would not be complete without a bold red lip, we suggest going for a silky formula for long-lasting results. If your lipstick tends to bleed, simply apply a lip liner before hand.
Our tip: Try exfoliating your lips before you apply any bold lipstick, this prevents and unwanted dry flakey areas.
