It’s hot and humid but you still want to look flawless? These lightweight foundations and BB creams come to the rescue…
Summer is full of fun pleasures- but melting face makeup is not one of them. Just like you switch your wardrobe from furry coats and scarves, to light dresses and high-waisted shorts – your face makeup needs to be revamped too. Swap your heavy duty foundation for a BB cream or a tinted moisturiser. The sheer formulas are much more lightweight on the skin, and are less likely to become cake-y on hot, humid days. However, if you’re not comfortable baring too much skin then opt for a more lightweight foundation – at first they offer sheer coverage but they are buildable in order to cover imperfections such as blemishes or discolouration.
Along with changing your foundations, get used to using primers whenever you’ll be applying face makeup – this will ensure your makeup lasts all day without melting off for feeling sticky!
