Finally Free : Caitlyn Jenner creates a lisptick with MAC Cosmetics

updated the 1 March 2016 à 18:45

Like other women of her clan, Caitlyn Jenner launches a new makeup product and partners with MAC Cosmetics to create a lipstick called Finally Free.

So, the rumour was floating about was that the former Olympic champion, whose sex change has been highly publicised, would work on her own brand of cosmetics. Now, Caitlyn Jenner and MAC Cosmetics are unveiling the fruit of their collaboration: Finally Free, a limited edition lipstick that will be available online on 7 April.

From red tints to old rose lips, it is created so that people, including the transgender community, would be able to flaunt it. The sign is used to call other celebrities to support causes to raise funds for HIV-stricken patients—through the Viva Glam Collection. Created by MAC, 100% of the profits will be donated to aid funds and support for the transgender community.

This is not the first time that the brand’s motto “All Ages, All Races, All Sexes” has been used to mediate the taboo associated with transgender people. Last September, MAC Cosmetics came up with a unisex collection to cater to both male and female costumers. From the international reputation of the company and important figure of the media and LGBT (lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgender) movement, Caitlyn Jenner, there is no doubt that this collaboration will continue to spark noise.
