New in Beauty: The Lilumia Makeup Brush Washing Machine
Ever wished you could just throw your makeup brushes into a washing machine? Be careful with what you wish for, because now you can.
Technology sure has had its way of introducing innovation to the beauty industry. First we had oscillating mascaras from Lancôme, the holy grail Clarisonic cleansing brushes and now, a washing machine for makeup brushes? No, we’re not joking – it’s the real deal. Gone are the days where you spend late nights manually washing your brushes after realising you haven’t washed them for weeks… all for the price of approximately SGD200.
The Lilumia Brush Cleanser is destined to be a game changer, allowing up to six brushes in its holders that are pivoted back and forth against an embossed surface with your desired combination of soap and water. The egg-shaped device is pretty hefty in size, so it’s not the most portable gadget to own. But to have half a dozen brushes washed in just minutes saves you heaps of time if you think about it – the average makeup enthusiast probably uses only about 10-15 brushes in total after all. Besides that, we’re sure makeup artists will benefit greatly from this clever invention. Just imagine all the time they would save washing their brushes after each photoshoot or runway show!
Though it’ll be vailable from August 7 on the website, we’re not quite sure yet if they’ll be shipping to our side of the planet. But rest assured we’ll be camping by our laptops at midnight to click the item at checkout!
