Specifically, DAA activates the skin’s longevity gene that takes care of skin damages. For instance, the gene Sirtuin (Sirt-1) plays a critical role in repairing the skin from damage caused by aging and with the structural combination of DAA, Sirt-1 gets stimulated to carry out the repair process.

DAA also erases traces of aging and takes care of aging signs such as the removal of lipofuscin, a waste product built up within cells as a result of the skin’s aging process. In addition to removal, DAA also prevents the future formation of lipofuscin.
