With Maybelline’s latest range of lipsticks and nail polishes, there’s now more reason to flaunt your pouts and flick your hands.

Are you looking to add a tinge of glimmer into your makeup routines or perhaps even a hint of vibrant neon – just to jazz up your day? Well, it seems like you’re in luck for Maybelline has just unveiled a very special, limited edition collection of their highly raved about Color Show range.

From lipsticks that deliver an intense colour payoff to lacquers that will sparkle your nails off, there’s definitely at least one product you should add to your vanities.

Our personal picks were the exceptionally vivid Color Show Neon Nude, Fuschia and Orange lipstick. While the basic formula is more or less similar to the original range, we did notice a slightly thicker texture for these shades – that only means it stays put without any fuss.

As for the polishes, we suggest experimenting with Sea Queen and Fantastic Amethyst, instead of the usual silver and gold glitter polishes. Formulated with a blend of three glitter particle sizes and shapes, the application is effortless enough and results in a smooth shiny finish, rather than a uncomfortable chunky mess.

If you don’t fancy having completely glittered out nails though, then simply draw a stripe across the edge of your nail for a subtle dash of shimmer. Or if you’re particularly adept with your fingers, have a whirl at crafting some snowflakes on your nails with the glitter polishes – Christmas can’t come any sooner can it?

So clearly we’re not arguing here because now at least we have a lip and nail combination to flaunt for every work-day of the week!

The Limited Edition Color Show Neon Lips (SGD9.90) and Color Show Sequins Nail Polish (SGD$6.90) will be available till February 2015 at all Watsons and Guardian stores.
