When it comes to fad hair trends, we thought we had already seen it all: from Nicole Richie‘s electric blue hair to Kelly Osbourne‘s luminescent mohawk. However, X-Pression Creativos of Madrid, Spain, proved us wrong with their latest hair trend to cause a stir on social media: the pixellated hair.
Jose Luis Almendral, Marco Antonio Restrepo, and Jorge Cancer of X-Pression pioneered the avant-garde colouring technique and lend it to beauty mogul Revlon.
The look involves a geometric approach to hair colouring for an edgy, structured look. Dubbed with the hashtag #xpresionpixel on Instagram, this fresh do echoes the kaleidoscopic trend on the Spring/ Summer 2015 runway.
