Asia’s Got Talent: What to expect in the second semi finals?

Has everyone been dutifully keeping Thursday, 8.05pm blocked off because the very first edition of Asia’s Got Talent is well underway with 2 entertaining Semi Finals and one Grand Final to go. At this point in time, with that many brilliant acts, honestly it could be anyone’s win. Just remember to keep those votes streaming in.
This week, as the second Semi Finals is set to be aired, be sure to look out for Singaporean, Fathin Amira’s incredibly powerful vocals that got her a unanimous yes from all four judges during the auditions. If that’s anything to go by, she’s definitely gearing up to sing David Foster’s socks away. Then there’s also Bepop, the Korean girl band who got through but may just have to amp up their act further if they’re looking to rake up the votes and be the next popular k-pop group in town. We’re hoping they have some trick up their sleeves to wow the audiences.
Now, if singing doesn’t thrill you then perhaps Vietnam’s cringe-worthy and essentially terrifying pain master Bao Cuong will do enough to turn you squeamish in your seats. During the auditions, there was broken glass, a snake going through his nose, hooks and a giant pair of scissors that went down his throat. We can’t even begin to imagine what the ‘man who feels no pain’ will bring to the Semi Finals this week.
So word of caution, remember not to have your meal while Asia’s Got Talent is on.
Asia’s Got Talent Semi Finals 2 will premiere on AXN on 23 April at 8.05pm.
