A theme she usually associates with her song Dark Horse is the Egyptian concept. Although she has explored the usual gold and metallic look for her music videos and previous live shows, her stylists have also experimented with a more playful palette for the theme. From Hot N Cold to This Is How We Do, singer, songwriter and pop star Katy Perry has been synonymous with crazy on and off-stage getups since her debut days in 2008. This is mostly thanks to her close friendship with designer Jeremy Scott, which started a partnership that involved her walking for his runway shows, her tour wardrobe being mostly made up of clothes he designed, and many red carpet appearances together.

Leather, LED and plastic are just some of the experimental materials she’s worn.
