First look: Watch the exclusive Hannibal Season 3 trailer here

As the first media outlet in the world to release Hannibal’s next season preview, we’re hoping to get you on the edge of your seats with this one.

As far as horror-drama shows go, Hannibal tops the list with the slew of heart-stopping, finger-biting, mind-boggling scenes the television series has put on the screens since premiering in 2013. For the unaware, Hannibal is based on Thomas Harris’s novel, Red Dragon, which follows psychiatrist, Hannibal Lecter and FBI criminal profiler, Will Graham as they hunt down serial killers, without knowing that Lecter is one as well.

The show has since evolved into one that’s focused on who the serial killers are to showcasing deeper character developments and in particular the consistently shifting dynamics between Graham and Lecter. One that incredibly goes through waves of trust, loyalty friendship and eventually betrayal.

Season 2 ended on a thrilling note where Graham and Lecter’s conflicting relationship faced a riveting showdown at Lecter’s home with one shocking bloodbath, leading everyone to feel his ever more frightening presence in the series.  Now back for a third season, we’re literally sitting right on the edge of our seats, as we see Lecter head off to Paris with his therapist, Dr. Bedelia du Maurier and based on the trailer, become the ‘hunted’. While the scene is seemingly set for Lecter’s supposed capture, we all know that with Hannibal, the game always changes. Ultimately, it remains to be seen if this show could get any more twisted and psychologically unnerving. And we’re guessing it would.

But enough description and feast your eyes on the exclusive trailer above of Hannibal season 3 and get your mind prepped for a whole new gripping journey into Lecter’s pscyhe.

Hannibal Season 3 premieres on 5 June airing on Fridays at 9.45pm within 12 hours of the U.S. telecast first and exclusively on AXN (StarHub TV Ch511)
