You’re not the only one looking for love on Tinder. Some of the rich and famous are also trying their luck on the cult dating app.
What are the chances of you landing a date with Britney Spears, Katy Perry or even Leonardo DiCaprio? Quite high apparently if you happen to be using Tinder. The number of celebrities using the cult dating app has increased so much that Tinder CEO Sean Rad has introduced a verification badge, much like Twitter and Instagram so that celebrities don’t have to put up with accusations of being a fake account.
Unlike other dating apps, the verification badge allows celebs to sign in without having to link their other social media accounts. The double opt-in system for messaging, where users only talk to each other if they’ve both swiped right is also another appeal for privacy-minded celebrities looking for a little casual fun.
