Mademoiselle Prive: Chanel exhibit to launch at Saatchi Gallery in London

Embark on an enchanted journey though the French brand’s history and immerse yourself in all things Chanel at the London exhibit this October.

London is never short of fashion exhibitions of the cultural kind. Following the well-received Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibit, the British capital is now gearing up for yet another fashion display and this time, the spotlight is on French fashion house Chanel with its Mademoiselle Prive exhibition.

The showcase, set to run from October 13 to November 1 will highlight Chanel’s Haute Couture history, the re-editions of the High Jewellery “Bijoux de Diamants”, the first and only fine jewellery collection designed by Coco Chanel and the ever iconic Chanel No. 5.

The London exhibition picks up from the previous year’s showcase at Seoul, where fans got to glimpse landmarks in Coco Chanel’s life story. In fact, Chanel’s cultural exhibitions have become just as anticipated as their fashion shows, with previous editions of the global event being held in Moscow (2007),  Shanghai  and Beijing (2011) , Guangzhou and Paris (2013) and most recently Seoul (2014).

Die-hard fans of Chanel shouldn’t miss the opportunity to immerse themselves in the house’s key elements of “audacity, freedom and innovation” as they take in the irreverent spirit of both its legendary founder and its current creative director Karl Lagerfeld in the exhibit spread over three floors of the gallery.

Looks like we know where we’re headed this October!

The exhibition will run from October 13 – November 1. Admission is free. Visit mademoiselleprive.chanel.com for more details.
