First Look: Lily-Rose Depp fronts Chanel Pearl Eyewear campaign

As Chanel’s latest ambassador, the 16-year-old lends her baby doll looks to the playful and flirty Pearl eyewear collection, the first of many collaborations to come with the fashion house.

Move over Kendall Jenner! The fashion world has a new It-girl and her name is Lily-Rose Depp. The 16-year-old daughter of Johnny Depp and longtime Chanel muse (it runs in the family!) Vanessa Paradis is the now the latest face of Chanel’s Pearl Eyewear collection.

We knew something was up when we saw Lily-Rose Depp at the Haute Couture shows in Paris earlier this month and it was only a matter of time before the teen followed in her mother’s fashionable footsteps and landed a contract with the French fashion house.

In her first collaboration with Chanel, the fresh-faced beauty, photographed by Karl Lagerfeld himself portrays a baby-doll in a world imbued with sweetness and femininity. All decked out in Chanel, Lily looks a glorious vision with her dark lips and tousled blonde bob as she rocks oversized round Chanel sunglasses with pearl outlines and a rose-tinted finish –a glimpse of what we can expect from the entire collection.

Of the collaboration, Karl Lagerfeld said “Lily-Rose is stunning, she’s a young girl from a new generation with all the qualities of a star,”

Indeed, with her good genes and enviable Hollywood pedigree, we’re sure this won’t be the last we see of Lily-Rose!
