“I love me some 80s rock music (yup, that’s usually Guns N’ Roses) but when it comes to love songs and ballads, the 70s rule! From ABBA to Elton John, the BEE GEES and of course Elvis – who wouldn’t feel the ‘peace and love’ which the ‘hippie’ decade promoted? So being the idealist drama queen that I am, I’d say The Hollies’ ‘The Air that I Breathe’ is on top of my love songs list. Maybe it’s those extremely dramatic lyrics which give me goosebumps or the great soothing melody – but this song is what I’d listen to on loop when I’m falling in love. It just makes me smile.”

It tells a girl that she’s the only one in the world for him, and that she looks beautiful no matter how many times she tries to ‘fix’ herself in front of the mirror. It’s such a perfect song.”

“My favourite love song of all time is Make You Feel My Love. Bob Dylan may have sung and written the song, but Adele’s version brought the house down.
