Marvel anti-hero Deadpool will take the big screen come February. Judging from the trailers, we are expecting a dark and twisted sense of humour. That should be a refreshing change.

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice
Batman and Superman sharing screenspace? We will take it. The movie boasts a spectacular star cast from Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Godot, Jason Momoa to Jesse Eisenberg. Did we also mention that Wonder Woman will be making an appearance?

The Jungle Book
Bill Murray is the voice of Baloo the bear in Disney's new offering of the Jungle Book, releasing in April this year. The casting of this movie, based on the classic tale, seems to be downright amazing. Scarlett Johansson as Kaa, Christopher Walken as King Louie - need we say more?

Expect new adventures and introductions from the third installment of this series. How will the Avengers crew save the day? We will have to wait and watch.

It is a year of sequels and X-Men has not been left behind. This movie features a younger and fresher cast -after 8 movies, we definitely needed the change. Jennifer Lawrence as shapeshifter Mystique has got us excited about this one.

The trailer of this movie spelled fun to a T and we were immediately sold. From what we have seen in trailers, the chemistry between Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe seems infectious. Certainly a pair we would like to see on the big screen.

Finding Nemo has been an avid part of our childhood and we could not be more excited for the spin off series, Finding Dory. With awesome voice talents such as Ellen DeGeneres, Albert Brooks, Diane Keaton, Eugene Levy, this will be another special animation movie to look forward to.

Independence Day: Resurgence
The sequel promises to be bigger and better - after all the orginal was released 20 years ago. While we will miss seeing Will Smith in this movie, we are excited to see what newcomers such as Liam Hemsworth have to bring to the table.

While the first trailer did not reveal much and kept us guessing, we are interested to see how Captain James T Kirk and the USS Enterprise will survive after being attacked by aliens.

Bridget Jones’s Baby
Bridget is pregnant now. Fans of the original movie can look forward to yet another love triangle. Renée Zellweger and Colin Firth are back as Bridget and Mark Darcy and that is enough reason to head to the cinema.
