The Grand Budapest Hotel is set in the 1930's and it was then a popular ski resort managed by Mr. Gustave.(Ralph Fiennes). Directed by Wes Anderson, his signature pastels, dreamy and very symmetrical style is shown throughout the film. Which not only makde it aesthetically pleasing, but a pleasure to watch with its storyline. It makes you crave for the cold winter as you lounge by the fire in a warm sweater, with a cup of hot chocolate in hand.

To escape, Walter inhabits a world of exciting daydreams in which he is the undeniable hero. In his imagination, he travels to the great Scandinavian snow-capped mountains and long winding countryside roads. The movie fills you with an unexplainable urge to skydive into them and just flop onto the soft snow, or speed down the highways with the wind in your hair.
