Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later
The original Wet Hot American Summer has cemented itself in the memories of its viewers, despite it being written off as a failure. Still, it had gained a cult following, and fans would be glad to see the sequel reach Netflix. In Ten Years Later, the lives of the many camp counselors have changed and this reunion will bring together an eclectic mix of characters that we know and love.

Atypical
This coming-of-age Netflix series follows along with Sam, played by It's Kind of a Funny Story’s Keir Gilchrist, who is on the autism spectrum. By recommendation of his therapist, watch as Sam experiences love and adventure in a whole new light. The series creator had consulted with a professor with experience in the Center for Autism Research & Treatment, so they are committed to bringing a realistic portrayal.

Marvel’s The Defenders
One of the most highly anticipated series coming out from Netflix, Marvel’s The Defender is a miniseries that brings all our favourite (anti) hero and heroines together. Through the eight episodes, watch as Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist joins forces to fight a single enemy. This takes place after the second season of Daredevil and the first season of Iron Fist, so be sure to catch up with that first too!

White Gold
Fans of Gossip Girl would definitely be delighted to hear of Ed Westwick’s leading role in the upcoming comedy series, White Gold. Set in Essex in the 1980s, Westwick uses his undeniable charisma and endearing smile to his advantage as a sleazy salesman who would do anything to close up a sale and profit. Selling up window frames, Westwick’s Swan oozes confidence and slyness, and is sure to carry the show with an entertaining edge.

Lynne Koplitz: Hormonal Beast
Lynne Koplitz is not afraid to speak her mind, and in Hormonal Beast, she discusses the effects of (you guessed it) hormones on females. Loud and beautifully unabashed, she offers up pieces of advice for males who need a little help, as well as females who need a little comforting. Speaking out in New York, watch this show for a wonderful taste of realism doused in wit and charm.

Naked
The minutes leading up to your wedding can be incredibly nerve wracking, and no one understands that more than Rob Anderson. Revisiting the classic Groundhog Day plot trope in a hilarious manner, Naked stars Marlon Wayans, a soon-to-be married husband who has forgone his responsibilities for a night of fun. As he wakes up, he is found naked in an elevator with only an hour to get to his wedding. One problem: he’s stuck in a timeloop.

Surviving Escobar, Alias JJ, is a series that is based on the book written by the hitman John Jairo Velásquez, also known as Popeye. As one within the inner circle of Pablo Escobar, his decision for justice was what ultimately led to the fall of the Colombian drug lord. In prison, follow along as Popeye tries his best to win in this game of survival.

Maz Jobrani: Immigrant
Comedians often leverage on events in their lives to formulate a story, and Maz Jobrani's is one you should definitely listen to. As a child, Jobrani escaped his home country of Iran during the revolution, and has found a home in the United States. Exploring social and political issues plaguing the world of today, listen as Jobrani’s energy and passion towards these sensitive topic brings a whole new perspective that will make you think harder and laugh louder.

What Happened to Monday?
What Happened to Monday is a dystopian science-fiction film, featuring a star-studded cast that is sure to delight. In the post apocalyptic world, a one-child policy is set to control the issue of overpopulation. The plot focuses on seven identical sisters, all assuming the identity of a singular individual: Karen Settman. That is, until one day, when one of them fails to return home.

Disjointed
With an incredible amount of accolades to her name, Kathy Bates is no stranger to the small and big screen alike. Disjointed stars Bates as Ruth, whose support of marijuana has led to her opening up a dispensary in town. The 20 seconds-long teaser features Bates smoking while walking out of her clinic, with a cloud of smoke behind her, and it has already enamoured viewers worldwide.
