After pouring through myriads of gift guides, stay classic by gifting your loved ones with the most classic of presents – a bottle of wine that comes with a twist!

Offering a bottle of wine as a gift, as good and old as it is, remains a classic gesture. Gifting wine especially becomes a safe choice when we know that the person is a wine-lover. Nonetheless, there is a way to elevate this classic gift to the next level – by making it a specially dedicated present.

Vinsual is a range of wine that incorporates graphic design, typography, technology and creative packaging – one resembles a mailbox – to deliver a whole new meaning to wine-gifting. Each bottle has the capability of being embedded with a text or a video message that only the bottle’s recipient can decrypt with their Smartphone or tablet.

How does it work?

Select and purchase your favourite wine from the Vinsual range.

Next, if you want to include a text message, instead of writing a physical one, scan the QR code on the purchaser’s instruction manual and write your message in the text box.

Or if you prefer to send a video message, simply record a video using your Smartphone or Tablet. Once recorded, upload it and scan the QR code on the purchaser’s instructions card, then add the video to the video box.

And that’s it. You are ready to send the customised bottle that’s dedicated exclusively to your friend, family member or anyone special.

To reveal the message contained within the unique present, the lucky recipient will just have to download the free Vinsual app, which is available from the Apple Store and Google Play.

Unfortunately, this range of wine is not sold in Asia but the concept is definitely note-worthy. Vinsual aptly sums it up, “A bottle of wine, a present, a message. Two obvious things, and the third is not yet revealed. Look inside, discover the hidden code and ask yourself: If the bottle is the envelope, where is the letter?”
