Day to Night: Your survival guide to go from office to party

At Marie France Asia, we’re not all about work for we definitely know a thing or two about unwinding and chilling after a tiresome day – in some parts thanks to our new office location that sits just by the Singapore River. Now for this week, our after-work plans include hosting a Networking Night at Sofitel So Singapore – and of course all of you are invited (just click here to RSVP)! Hence, naturally, we’ve been busy figuring out just how to get all spiffed up from the office and head out for a night of revelry and making new connections.

So after a little bit of hemming and hawing, we have officially perfected our day-to-night game plan and here’s how you can too!

Beauty

The first course of action would be to get your makeup primed to perfection with Givenchy’s dynamic duo, namely the Noir Couture Volume mascara and Le Rouge lipstick. Get your eyes fluttering to new-found heights with a few swipes of the mascara then switch out your light lipstick hue for a darker shade of burgundy or classic red to instantly create an enchanting look.

We’re especially fans of the Le Rouge lipstick for its staying power and it definitely wouldn’t leave unsightly lip marks on your champagne glasses throughout the night either. With pretty peepers and a perfect pout, beauty wise, you’re sublime. Now on to the wardrobe.

Always stash a pair of heels – or more – under your office desk. Seeing that the menswear-inspired trend is still going strong, a fitted blazer or even a vest over your dress or blouse is all the ‘cherry on top’ you need to look ready for a night of networking.

Additionally, if you need more sparkle, throw some accessories like a statement necklace or a cuff and you’re all set to leave the office.

Well-being

Lastly, after all that party fun, it wouldn’t hurt to give your body a good ‘ol cleanse with a six pack from Singapore-based, Hic’ Juice.
