What: New Kanada x Darker Than Wax Night

When: Saturday, 22nd November; 11pm till late

Where: Kyo, 133 Cecil Street, #B1-02 Keck Seng Tower

Why: Flipping through a rack of vinyl, there’s no mistaking a release from Adam Marshall’s New Kanada imprint. A black-and-white photograph, perhaps a portrait or an architectural detail, occupies the center sticker; a bold red dot hovers somewhere in the circular frame. It’s as immediately identifiable as it is cryptic.

Where: The Coliseum at Hard Rock Hotel, Resorts World Sentosa
Why: Since releasing their debut album "The Bones Of What You Believe" in September 2013, the band has been touring almost non-stop - bringing their uniquely electrifying live sound to worldwide audiences.With their synth laden beats and catchy lyrics, the charismatic Scottish act are sure to thrill local audiences once again.

Who better to match their sound than our very own Riot !n Magenta known for their distinctive soulful melodies lined with edgy, rhythmic beats. Homegrown smooth synth pop to warm you up before the show, now that's what we're talking about.

Why: A visual feast lies in wait for the visitors of the second edition of the Bank Art Fair, which showcases the curated works of international modern artists.
