Jazz fans rejoice! The Singapore International Jazz Festival (Sing Jazz) is back for its second edition to delight music lovers with another exceptional programme featuring the best acts in the business. From 5-8 March, the iconic Marina Bay Sands will play host to more than 250 artists- international Grammy Award winners, chart toppers, regional icons, and Singapore’s own jazz stars. We’re particularly looking forward to some of the big name acts like Chaka Khan, Chris Botti, Jessie J and crowd favourite, John Legend.

While the names might not be as ‘jazzy’ as expected from the eponymous festival, Sing Jazz is actually meant to be a celebration of ‘jazz-inspired music’ from mainstream jazz to smooth soul, R&B and acid jazz, even extending to modern-day pop. So whether you’re a jazz aficionado or just looking to relax to some good music, Sing Jazz has got you covered.

The 4-day event lets you play Good Samaritan too, as every commercial ticket sold will include a contribution to the Foundation for the Arts & Social Enterprise, which leads the way in encouraging and cultivating local artists, many of whom will be showcasing their talent on the Sing Jazz satellite stages.

So, if it’s great music and entertainment you’re looking for, then Sing Jazz is where you want to be this weekend. See you there!
