Gwyneth Paltrow soars atop of Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands’ infinity pool

The Hollywood actress was in town to launch British Airways’s new A380 airbus routes between Singapore and London.

Singapore’s luxury hotel, Marina Bay Sands boasts of quite the infinity pool that basically overlooks the nation’s dramatic towering skyline and mesmerizing night lights. Hence, it comes without question that British Airways would land on this exact location to launch its new A380 superjumbo aircraft routes between London and Singapore.

The only trick was how exactly does one stage a photo shoot for the launch on a pool? Clearly this was a task fit for the Iron Man actress, Gwyneth Paltrow. While suspended on a British Airways Club World seat in the middle of the pool, the Hollywood actress dazzled in a teal dress by British designer, Safiyaa as she reclined into her seat in essentially, a gravity-defying shoot.

Singapore has always been a top destination on my wish list, so when British Airways approached me to help launch their impressive A380 to Singapore I couldn’t resist – it was a great opportunity, both fun and truly unique,” enthused Paltrow.

Basically anyone who goes on top of one of the world’s most expensive hotel will leave with butterflies – let alone floating above the infinity pool. Talk about choice seating.

The British Airways superjumbo flights between London to Singapore will begin on 29 October.
