With 20 sustainable light art installations created by both local and international artists, this event serves as a reminder for us to adopt sustainable habits in our daily lives. With local music acts performing, a carnival to indulge your inner kid, and gastronomic delights from PasarBella's farmers market and more, you'll definitely have a fun-filled weekend here.

Singapore Design Week

Why: Design junkies, this week is your lucky week! The 4th edition of Singapore Design Week is here for a week starting tomorrow, with many informative and exciting programmes for you to participate in! Even though the highly popular Design, Make and Craft Fair workshops are all fully subscribed, there are still free design trails to go on to learn more about the design community, and talks and exhibitions by designers. To immerse yourself more deeply into the design scene, here's an event you will look forward to.

Superfly: The Prequel

Why: Dance the night away and let loose at this urban party festival, where street culture of street exhibitions and urban concepts meld together in this melting pot of an event. With sick beats all day and night provided by a host of DJs, a marketplace of streetwear and more for street culture enthusiasts, and good food, here's a party venue you can't miss out on.

HSBC Women’s Champion
When: 2-5 March; 7am-3pm
Where: Singapore Golf Club, 27 Bukit Manis Road, Singapore 099892
Why: With its 10th year anniversary, this year's HSBC Women's Champions will take place at the recently renovated New Tanjong Course for the very first time, providing players with a fresh challenge. Watch the game amidst the perfectly scenic view and also attend the music festival, headlined by popular Korean music act Lee Joon Gi.

OFC Social Market

Why: Supermarkets are so easily accessible in Singapore, but take the route of change and try out freshly farmed produce and local goods from local farmers, bakers, producers and more at OFC Social Market! Get a pot of homemade jam, or explore the organic skincare products, or even take part in one of the workshops of brush lettering or yoga. There's surely something for everybody here this weekend!

Community Pop Up at SPD Open House

Why: Join SPD (formerly known as Society for the Physically Disabled) in working towards building a more inclusive community through a series of games, inclusion trails, photo booths and pledging stations. Poolside Fiesta

Why: W Singapore is hosting the first pool party of the year, where you can enjoy the latest hits and grooviest beats by W Singapore's DJs, or relish in Mexico-inspired favourites, such as Carne Asada Fries and Cancun Grilled Shrimp.
