The Spirits Play
When: 27 to 29 October

Where: Victoria Theatre

Why: If you're not into the high-octane Halloween parties, here's a slightly more cultural, subdued alternative to celebrating this spooky season. Watch Kuo Pao Kun's classic, The Spirits Play, come to live in this performance at The Victoria Theatre by theatre group, The Fingers Play. The play centers on five spirits who are caught in a limbo following the aftermath of the war. Haunting, profound and incredibly moving, it's unsurprising that it has won raving reviews from critics.

Wine Fiesta 2017
When: 27 to 29 October, 12PM to 9PM

Where: Clifford Square, 80 Collyer Quay, The Fullerton Bay Hotel

Why: This one's for you oenophiles: sip on the best wines at Clifford Square this weekend at Wine Fiesta 2017, where wineries from across the world will showcase their bestselling bottles. Some of Singapore's best restaurants, like Maggie Joan's and Morsels, will also be at the event dishing out scrumptious grub to go along with your tipples!

A Culinary Evening with Audra Morrice
When: 26 to 29 October, 6.45PM to 9.30PM

Where: Pool Grill at Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel

Singapore Fashion Week 2017

Where: National Gallery Singapore

Why: Singapore Fashion Week (SGFW) returns this year, bigger than ever. This new format will present over 50 designers from 11 Asian countries across three days, compared to its showcase of 40 designers from just 5 Asian countries in 2016.
