The best looks from this year’s 5-day Singapore Fashion Week (SGFW) 2016.

Singapore Fashion Week (SGFW) ended on a high at its glitzy new location this year at the National Gallery Singapore. Local luxury shoe label Mashizan and contemporary London-based label Self Portrait closed the event on two separate runways, officially wrapping the 5-day signature Singapore fashion event that welcomed over 6,000 guests.

This year’s SGFW had a distinctly stronger Asian focus, with 20 of its 22 shows featuring Asian designers. Major labels that showed this year included Chinese designer Guo Pei, whom you might recall was the designer behind the oriental, canary-yellow gown Rihanna wore at the 2015 Met Gala, and New York-based Indian American Naeem Khan who regularly dresses none other than First Lady Michelle Obama.

Local labels also enjoyed the spotlight during the event, with designers like Max.Tan by Max Tan, Ong Shunmugam, Aijek by Danelle Woo and more showcasing their designs at the event. If you missed out on the chance to catch any of the labels showing this year, head up to our gallery above to check our favourite looks from this year’s SGFW.
