You’re single, can you do me a favour?

Why are singles associated with being suckers? Not living the married life doesn’t mean having no life at all.

According to them, you have no life. It is never said blatantly, but it’s always in the same way: “In August, can you help me water the plants, feed the cat and pick up the mail?” You reply, “Well no, because I’m going on vacation.” The answer shocks them: “What do you mean vacation? Where?” “At the parking lot of left out, no kidding!” As if the only passangers on the highway or in an aircraft were only families. Solo, you’re not shy to concoct your own customized holiday, exploring Iceland, afford four-star nights joined on the spot with a group of adventurers, thanks to sites like tripnco.com.

Planned holidays are great, but in addition, it is the last minute deals that you want. One person can squeeze in a boat, a plane, or an igloo – easy. Like how there are other areas of self-realization within a couple or family; sporting passion, love of travel, adventure or pleasure to join the business with fun with a humanitarian purpose construction, etc. And happy to spend that dearly earned money.

And besides, who says that you handle things alone? Single does not mean “no man at all.” So in August, we too will need someone to deal with the plants and mail.
