Get into the ultimate Christmas cheer with our top 10 holiday-friendly songs that’ll have you grooving all the way to the festivities.

‘Tis the season to put on some tunes, go fa la la la and twirl around in your wardrobe as you decide on your festive outfit. No need to blast the usual carols though, go against the flow and instead revel in these beautiful melodies from the likes of Lady Gaga, Michael Bublé and Maroon 5.

1. Lady GaGa & Tony Bennett – Winter wonderland

Probably our favourite festive tune this Christmas – Lady GaGa and Tony Bennet’s holiday song has us jingling all the way to extreme Christmas cheer. From great beats to jazz-inspired vocals, this hit song should definitely be on your Christmas playlist this season.

2. Sam Smith – Have yourself a merry little Christmas

Ever since English singer/songwriter Sam Smith had his big debut in 2012, we’ve been #1 fans. Which is why his rendition of ‘Have yourself a merry little Christmas’ is a constantly-repeated song on our iPod.

3. Mariah Carey – All I want for Christmas is you

Nothing beats Mariah Carey’s Christmas album. Every year around this time we feel the overwhelming need to break out this CD. From her beautiful vocals to the heartfelt lyrics, we just can’t get enough.

4. Michael Bublé – Santa baby

We can’t help but fall in love with Michael Bublé’s sexy voice – especially when he’s singing some of our favourite holiday tunes. From ‘Santa baby’ to ‘It’s beginning to look alot like Christmas’ – we love them all.

5. Ariana Grande – Santa tell me

Whether you’re a major fan of Ariana Grande, or not, you can’t help but agree that her Christmas hit song is sweet, romantic, and most of all catchy. Plus, it makes for the perfect slow dance song at your annual Christmas bash – calling on the couples!

6. Idina Menzel & Michael Bublé – Baby it’s cold outside

At the top of the music charts this holiday season is Idina Menzel and Michael Bublé’s cover of ‘Baby it’s cold outside’ – and we know why. Fun, cheerful, and totally Christmasy, this duet will have you moving your feet on the dance floor all night long.

7. Pentatonix (ft Tori Kelly) – Winter Wonderland/Dont worry be happy

This modern remix of the classic ‘Winter Wonderland’ will definitely have you grooving to the beat no matter how old you are. The quirky acapella group is without a doubt in the running for our best festive song of 2014.

8. Bobby Helms – Jingle Bell Rock

An all time classic – this Bobby Helms track will never, ever get old. This tune may have come out in 1958, but it’s repeatedly on the radio every year since then and that has to say something, right?

 9. Meghan Trainor – I’ll be home

Everyone has been obsessed with Meghan Trainor since the release of her hit single, ‘All about that bass’ – including us. From her bubbly personality to her beautiful confidence, we couldn’t help but feature the American singer on our list.

 10. Maroon 5/Adam Levine – A very grammy Christmas

Maroon 5 isn’t usually known for their Christmas music but after their jaw-dropping performance on ‘A very grammy Christmas’, we think they should definitely get together and create an entire holiday album.
