Christmas Gift Guide: What to get the person who has everything?

It’s time to think outside the gift box.

You’ve made your list, you’ve checked it twice; but there’s still someone who’s yet to get checked off. It’s that one person in your life that has it all already, and what could you possibly get the person who has everything?

The hunt for unique gifts this sort of giftee will appreciate is certainly one of the most painstaking Christmas tasks. No matter how many shops you visit, you can’t seem to pick out the perfect gift.

Maybe the problem is that you’re looking in all the wrong places. The perfect present isn’t a tangible item that you can find in the shops. It’s time to rack your brains and think outside the box for an interesting and thoughtful gift. To start, here are some of our ideas that can hopefully inspire you to think of the perfect Christmas gift for the person that has it all.

A year’s supply of flowers

Give someone special (like mum) the gift of fresh flowers in the home by buying them flowers every month. Start with a festive bouquet with a card promising monthly deliveries. Just don’t forget to live up to your bargain!

Gift someone an experience

If you know someone who collects experiences, then treat them to an activity you know they’ll love. Buy them a day at a luxury spa or rent a luxury car they can take on a spin. It will be a gift they won’t be quick to forget.

Adopt an animal in their name

You can’t wrap up an African Elephant and give it as a Christmas gift, but you can symbolically adopt one for the animal lover in your life. Head over to WWF to make a donation in their name and they’ll also get memorabilia like a plush toy and a certificate of adoption.

For everything else… there’s gift cards

There’s no shame in getting a gift card. It’s kind of like gifting someone a shopping spree. Who wouldn’t love that? You can even get creative and buy them a preloaded Starbucks card, effectively treating them to a drink for as long as you intend.
