Bold, creative and original - Thomas Tait brings his artful A/W14 collection to Singapore's AFF

Even though Thomas Tait's A/W14 collection was debuted a few months ago during London Fashion Week - seeing it in the flesh at the recent Audi Fashion Festival was an experience not to be missed.

Apart from the bold colours, geometric lines and superb cuts and tailoring - the clothes which were paraded by hastily walking models had something more to them. It was more like a puzzle where only when all the models walked out together at the finale, you could see the vast strength and sheer beauty of this collection.

The creative pattern cutting - especially on those jackets, oversized on top and cleverly fitted at the waist - was outstanding and so were the layered dresses boasting contrasting colours and fabric treatments which added up to make a stunning display of eclecticism.

Colour blocking, stripes and a few more toned-down pieces to complement the looks - Tait's collection was anything but short of ideas and originality. It was an artful display or creativity and a feast to the eyes to say the least.
