Chanel SS14 as seen through Glass & Mirror

updated the 12 June 2014 à 22:00

Marvel at every stitch and detail under the microscope with Chanel SS14 video. Watch it here!

The only downside is the sheer amount of intricacies we miss.

The delicate ruffles, exquisite embroidery or the interesting use of fabric – the devil is in the details and Chanel is the true puppet master.

Through a short film, titled, Glass & Mirror, the Spring Summer 2014 Ready-To-Wear collection is featured with added hyper-close, zoomed in focus. In a bid to bring the finer details closer to the viewer, the slightly dreamy set up is very much an exquisite delivery.

By placing every stitch under a microscope, you get to fawn over every pixel of rich tweed, lace and knit coloured in pastels and fluorescents. And if you are a pearl-over-diamond kind of woman, the oversized pearl necklaces would be a treat.

Accompanied by the The Accidental’s Knock Knock as acoustic, Chanel never fails to keep us captivated and yearning for more.
