In partnership with Action for AIDS Singapore, DFW unveiled an exclusive collection of t-shirts designed by Singapore-based designers.

There are times when fashion doesn’t simply revolve around the clothes that grace the runway but seeks to also highlight a social cause worth discussing. Last week, nine Singapore-based designers – namely Depression, Kae Hana, Mash-Up, Max Tan, Pauline Ning, Sundays, Yesah, You You and Yuki Mitsuyasu – stepped up to launch a collection of t-shirts in partnership with Action for AIDS Singapore.

As part of the upcoming Digital Fashion Week, the designs, reflective of each individual brand’s DNA, were conjured up as a community outreach initiative to catapult the fight against AIDS cause to the forefront. Beyond the t-shirts, the event also featured an enticing sneak peek into the designers’ Spring Summer 2015 collections that will be showcased during DFW, at the end of October.

To purchase the designer T-shirts, simply head to Inverted Edge, DFW’s official e-commerce partner from early November 2014 to snag up a t-shirt (SGD59) or two. All proceeds will go to Action for AIDS Singapore – fashion clearly knows how to champion a good cause.
