Dior to show its next cruise collection in Los Angeles
After Tokyo, Brooklyn and Monaco, the French luxury house is hitting the road again for its upcoming cruise collection.
With cruise collections, Chanel tends to move entire productions along with the media throng to various points on the globe and now Dior is following suit with a similar trend. After showing in Tokyo, Brooklyn and Monaco, the French fashion house is sailing its ship towards California, specifically Los Angeles, to present their Cruise 2016 collection.
Seeing how cruise is probably the one most commercial collection that brands put out in their hectic yearly schedule, it makes perfect sense that Dior is heading to the sunny west coast. Usually filled with summer-ready apparel, Los Angeles is possibly the market that will drive the most sales for cruise collections in America.
With Tom Ford showing his collection in the city as well, who knows Los Angeles might just be the next fashion capital that we’re going to have to slot into our fashion calendar?
