If garments don’t fascinate you at fashion weeks, that’s because accessories are stealing the attention – and for the right reasons too! Here are our picks!

Naturally at fashion weeks, our eyes gravitate towards the garments on display – they are front and centre the focal point after all. But once our eyes do move downwards and sideways, that’s when we see the sheer level of mastery in the accessory department as well.

Honestly though, accessories are where the real creativity and innovation radiates from because designers only have that amount of room to wiggle around and come up with some groundbreaking-ly fantastic pieces. Whether it’s sticking a cage at the bottom of your heel or playing with architectural shaped ones or re-imagining plates as bags, these designers are basically one league beyond us. Because every time we see an oddly sculpted bag or pair of shoes go down the runway, only one question pops up into our heads, “Why didn’t we think that?”

So in any case, for Fall/ Winter 2015, the basis is clear – it’s either geometrical or chunky heels and for bags, well, quirky, irreverent and luxurious from every angle. Now feast your eyes and make those lists!
