Now a wonderful wardrobe is accessible to anybody with the new fashion line dedicated and made specially for wheelchair users.

People who use a wheelchair don’t have a lot of choice when it comes to fashionable clothing. And yet, some of them would like to be fashionable because looking and feeling wonderful should be accessible to everybody.

Izzy Camilleri – a Toronto-based fashion designer who has designed clothes for Angelina Jolie, Meryl Streep and David Bowie among others – understands that. So, she familiarized herself with issues that people in a wheelchair have with clothing, and then launched the IZ Adaptative Collections dedicated to women and men.

The collections, available online, feature day and evening wear that are not only trendy but also very practical when it comes to getting dressed easily with strategic zipper placement, easier fasteners, magnetic buttons, stretch fabrics etc…

Through her creation, the well-regarded fashion designer wants to give people their personality back, as one of her customers said in a web testimonial:”I embrace the freedom to define myself through my actions and my appearance. Thanks to the innovative IZ clothing line, there now exists [fashion] options that were never available to me before.”

We definitely love the message behind these special collections and are excited to spread the word about it!
