Rebel Heart: Madonna unveils concert tour costumes

With a bevy of designers whipping one a creation, we can always trust the Queen of Pop to wear these designs with brilliant ease.
Madonna is hailed as the Queen of Pop and she’s almost 60 years old and a mother of 4 but still rocking it like she used to back in the day. With a new album out, Rebel Heart, and having just kickstarted her tour in Montreal, the proposed costumes that she’s planning to don on stage are definitely out of this world.
For someone of her reputation, calibre and fame, it’s not surprising that big names in fashion jumped at the chance to design concert outfits. Brands like Gucci, Alexander Wang, Prada, Miu Miu and Moschino have all whipped up some gorgeous pieces, that define Madonna to a T.
Our personal favourite and the one that suits Madonna the most has to be that by Alexander Wang – A full black ensemble with sheer pleated flare sleeves and a bodysuit underneath. It’s simple, but also has that edgy feel to it, and shows off her legs. Even though it’s not as loud or provocative (how can you forget she is the one who made cone bras a thing?) as what she would normally wear, the outfit would nonetheless give her a very powerful and dominating vibe.
Knowing Madonna, she would pair it with fishnets and a pair of leather boots so spiked, it would be able to puncture someone with ease. Oh Madonna, only you could pull these off.
