Glory Rebuilt: Limited edition sneakers by PUMA x Filling Pieces to drop this month

updated the Saturday, July 30, 2016

Only 45 pairs will be landing in Singapore, so get a pair of these sleek sneaks while they’re hot.

While the world may be familiar with PUMA, it is worth mentioning that contemporary Amsterdam-based footwear brand Filling Pieces, established back in 2009 by designer Guillaume Philibert, has been making a name for itself, merging streetwear and high-end fashion aesthetics to create premium sneakers at attainable prices.

Unveiling a surprise collaboration, PUMA and Filling Pieces have come together to reinvent the signature Blaze of Glory PUMA sneaker. By deconstructing the original piece and rebuilding it with superb quality FP materials, down to the last intricate detail, the PUMA x Filling Pieces collaboration has resulted in the rebirth of a contemporary iteration of the Blaze of Glory.

Blurring the line between athletic performance and luxury footwear, this limited edition design features a toebox made of fine quality leathers with a cleaner and slimmer silhouette than the original Blaze of Glory. An over-emphasised tongue (iconic of Filling Pieces footwear), perforated panelling and rose gold lace tips complete the look.

The PUMA x Filling Pieces sneakers will be available at Limited Edt stores from 30 July. And yes, only 45 pairs will be dropping here in Singapore, so if you want a piece of this snazzy footwear, make sure you’re first in line!
