Take a look at the fashion side of Game of Thrones, and discover the show’s costumes inspiring designer runway collections.

Cersei, Khalessi, Jon Snow, The Lannisters, The Starks…You have  probably already guessed that we are going to talk about the famous show Game of Thrones.

It’s certainly the most downloaded show in history, so it’s about time that fashion got involved in this story. Actually, it has already happened, thanks to the New York-based leather designer Zana Bayne who has created a Tumblr named G.O.T RUNWAY that matches certain aspects of the costumes of characters in the show to runway collection looks . More precisely, the New-York designer, who has created leather harnesses for the likes of Lady Gaga, Beyoncé and Katy Perry, chooses a style associated with a character from the famous show every week and puts them against catwalk looks from Givenchy, and Fendi among others.

The result? Some incredible comparisons!

Let it be clearly noted and understood, the show’s costume designer Michele Clapton is likely to become the centre of real-life fashion trends. Not only are we awaiting the next episode to know if finally Khalessi and her dragons will seize the Seven Kingdoms, or if Arya will get her revenge on the Lannisters…but also to find out what the Game of Thrones characters will be wearing in the next episode.
