Marc Jacobs continues to revolutionise the fashion world, this time by using Instagram and Twitter to land the new face of MbMJ

Marc Jacobs is continuing his takeover of the social media. After his Tweet Shop Campaign to promote his Daisy fragrance pop-up store in Manhattan – where visitors had to pay for the products not with money but with tweets, Instagram photos and Facebook posts –  the designer has recently launched a digital model casting call to find the face for his Fall/Winter 2014-2015 campaign. The brand has announced the launch on April 2nd by tweeting: “Wanna be the new face of MbMJ? Tag your photo #CastMeMarc & enter to win!”.

So after Miley Cyrus, the next face to represent the Marc by Marc Jacobs brand could be someone like you or me provided we have already sent a selfie on Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #CastMeMarc.

It’s a given that the hashtag had been bombarded with selfies of boys, girls and even babies who dream of becoming the next face of Marc Jacobs.

Unfortunately, the competition is closed for submissions now, but this move yet again shows that Marc Jacobs is leading the way in revolutionizing the fashion world. We are definitely keeping a watch on his next move!

In the meantime, we can’t wait to see the lucky face that has been chosen by Marc.
