Vintage florals meet grungy rock & roll chic in Coach’s new Spring 2017 ad campaign.

This Spring, Coach has encapsulated fashion-forward girl squads with its new girl gang-centric campaign. Coach 1941 has released its newest ad campaign for its Spring/Summer 2017 Collection, capturing a revelry of the “American spirit, independent thought, and diversity”.

Set against the sprawling metropolis of New York, clouded in dusty rose hues, Coach girls lounge around the edge of Liberty State Park clad in studded rockabilly booties, with Tea Rose-embellished Dinky and Rogue bags dangling off their arms. Fall in love with the soft faded floral garments and soft prairie dresses, layered with Elvis T-shirts and buttery leather biker jackets for extra edge. The collection challenges conventional notions of luxury, where a sense of rock & roll rebellion is intertwined with a feeling of romanticism and limitless freedom, a nod to Coach’s New York roots.

The ad campaign is stunningly shot by long-time Coach collaborator Steven Meisel and directed by Coach Creative Director Stuart Vevers, featuring Lexi Boling, Wallette Watson, Hayett McCarthy, Cara Taylor, He Cong, and Anders Donatelli, embodying the eclectic, independent New York attitude. Head up to check out Meisel and Vevers’ vision in the gallery above.
