Featuring the likes of Michelle Williams and shot by Bruce Weber, Series 6 is a true homage to the heart and soul of Paris.

There is something truly distinctive and inimitable about Parisian style – call it that Parisienne je ne sais quoi, if you will. Series 6 is Louis Vuitton’s new ad campaign for its Spring Summer 2017 collection, a series of pictures that captures the spirit and soul of Paris and the allure of Nicolas Ghesquière’s favourite muses.

The ad campaign, beautifully photographed by Bruce Weber, features Michelle Williams, Jennifer Connelly, Adele Exarchopoulos and Sasha Lane. Set on the Ile Saint Louis, the collection depicts a series of quintessentially Parisian moments bearing strong cultural references. For one, the women linger on the Place Louis Aragon, a place that once rung with an infectious atmosphere of artistic enthusiasm Weber wanted to capture.

Paris the soul of this collection.” Nicolas Ghesquière said of his vision of the collection and campaign. “Paris is nourished by all artistic influences. It is to this cultivated, intellectual, original and free-spirited Parisienne that I wanted to pay tribute”. For a glimpse into Weber’s and Ghesquière’s vision, we have included the photographs from the Series 6 ad campaign – just head on up to the gallery above for a peek.
