Olivia Wilde revealed as the face of H&M Conscious Exclusive collection

Humanitarian and actress, Olivia Wilde, has just been tapped as the star of H&M’s environmentally sustainable line of clothing.
The Swedish high street giant, H&M, has roped in Olivia Wilde to be the face of their new Conscious Exclusive campaign. Knowing the Hollywood actress has quite the eco-conscious and humanitarian side to her, this partnership could not have been any more fitting.
The 30-year old activist is an avid supporter of numerous causes such as the Fair Foods campaign in the US, Gucci’s Chime for Change campaign and is a board member with Artists for Peace and Justice to provides education and health services in Haiti,
“Sustainability is one of my biggest passions. I’m proud to be the face of H&M Conscious Exclusive, a collection which shows the stylishness of sustainability,” says Olivia Wilde.
This ethically-aligned arm of H&M essentially focuses on creating sustainable products using materials such as organic silk, organic cotton, organic linen, Tencel®, recycled polyester and conscious leather.
In this year’s collection, inspiration flows in from African, Asian and Indian cultures in terms of silhouette and details. Hand-drawn prints are a strong focal point as they were created specially for the collection.
Who knows, this collection may just have you swapping your entire wardrobe for sustainable clothing.
The Conscious Exclusive will be available in around 200 H&M stores worldwide on 16 April 2015, as well as online.
