The legendary designer puts a grandeur display of elegance and glamour at AFF’s finale show in Singapore.
From impeccably tailored wool and tweed suits to breathtaking gowns – Oscar de la Renta’s closing show at Audi Fashion Festival was a true feast to the eyes.
as the models walked down the runway it became obvious – we are witnessing not just any fashion show – but one of a master of his craft who has inspired others along his way and achieved an icon status in the fashion world.
The dramatic and intricate evening gowns are what we were waiting for and they didn’t disappoint. Colours, textures and beautiful details lit up the catwalk which looked like a red carpet fit for a queen or a Hollywood startlet. Each gown was uniquely distinctive and an epitome of elegance and glamour which the designer is well known for.
There’s really not much more one can say when it comes to a legendary designer like Oscar de la Renta, so we’ll just leave you to enjoy the photos and daydream – because in our fashionable world, this is certainly the stuff that dreams are made of.
