Swipe to Shop: Mobile shopping made easier with Spring app

Online or mobile shopping has been the buzzword for a few years now but there hasn’t been a really easy way to shop on our smartphones or tablets, that is until we came across “Spring” – a new shopping application, that gives us the best shopping experience on our devices. As David Tisch,  Chairman and co-founder of Spring aptly says, “We were frustrated by having to download multiple apps and visit mobile optimized e-commerce sites that still had archaic checkout systems. So we built Spring to create a mobile experience where customers can shop directly from the brands they love and also discover new ones, all in one seamless experience.”

So, what can you do on Spring?

You can follow the brands you love and discover new ones among the list of 100 brands who have agreed to join the new app.

Then, as in Instagram, your news feed is updated with lifestyle photos (and no product shots) of your favorite brands, but unlike Instagram, everything that comes up in your news feed can be purchased.

You can ‘love’ your favourite pieces to save them for later, browse curated collections of your style icons and designers, see how popular certain products are – such as your dress, shirt, lipstick – since the app will show how many people have loved that particular item. And the best aspect of it all is that you can check out within seconds. On Spring, users will only have to provide their credit card information, sizes and shipping addresses only once so that you can buy anything with a swipe of your finger, literally.

To make the deal even sweeter, you will be notified when there are new arrivals from your favourite brands, if a piece you’ve previously ‘loved’  goes on sale or if there are any exclusive deals happening.
