Love your Jimmy Choo stilettos? Now you can eat them too thanks to the collaboration with The Berkeley Hotel, which is offering afternoon tea delicacies based on our favourite designer shoes.

Our four senses were already stimulated by our favourite Jimmy Choos – sight and touch of course, but also hearing (we love the sound of our beautiful heels on the floor) and olfactory too (we’re talking about the intoxicating leather smell…); and now the list is completed by taste.

London’s Berkeley Hotel is well-known for its afternoon tea, named “Pret-a-Portea”, where cakes, pastries, and cookies inspired by designs of luxury brands such as Miu Miu, Louboutin, and Oscar de la Renta are served.

This time round, Berkeley’s pastry team is focusing on the Jimmy Choo 2014 fall collection, to replicate the shape of its most iconic pieces in the form of traditional English afternoon tea with cakes and pastries. Needless to say, the brand’s legendary “Anouk” shoe, a pointy-toe stiletto, will come in a great number of fashionable colours!

This collaboration is a kind of consecration, as Sandra Choi, Creative Director of Jimmy Choo says: “We are excited to have our Jimmy Choo collection immortalized by the Berkeley’s Pret-a-Portea, which after nearly 10 years has become such a respected institution in the fashion world. I can’t wait to see our designs interpreted as edible delicacies!”

Excited to munch on your pointed-toe stiletto? Then mark your calendar! The Pret-a-Portea Jimmy Choo Collection service runs from 13th to 19th October, every day from 1pm to 6pm at the Caramel Room at the Berkeley Hotel, for a cool $68 per person.
