Singapore Bar Awards 2015: The winners revealed!
Honouring the Lion City's best bars, bartenders, and the industry for excellence in concept development, operations, and innovation.
The bar scene in Singapore has come a long way since its Singapore Sling days and the Singapore Bar Awards' (SGBA) 2015 recent announcement of the recipients of its highly coveted titles for the local bar industry is proof of its incredible evolution since then.
Organised by industry veteran, Tron Young, the SGBA 2015 makes its second return as an affiliated event of Singapore Cocktail Week. 75 Singapore-based bartenders, spirits importers, journalists and influencers selected the recipients through a tally of votes, the results of which were announced at the awards ceremony at The Refinery on March 8. Categories included Best Male Bartender , Best Bar, and the new categories of Best Bar Food, Best Female Bartender and Best Service Crew. “The list of nominees we received for the Singapore Bar Awards 2015 was outstanding! I truly believe that being nominated by peers is one of the greatest honour and recognition that any passionate F&B individual can have,” shares Young.
The Singapore Bar Awards 2015 recipients, according to the categories, are:

Best Bar Food 2015 Recipient: 28 HongKong Street

Best New Bar 2015 Recipient: Operation Dagger
Best Bar 2015 Recipient: 28 HongKong Street
Best Female Bartender 2015 Recipient: Bannie Kang, Nutmeg & Clove
Best Male Bartender 2015 Recipient: Tom Hogan, Anti:dote
